How do you manage an agent once it is open?
Many companies are running agents without books. The cost sits inside a personal wallet, nobody is the owner when the work goes wrong, and nothing forces a weak operation to stop. Ophanim puts three states on a shared set of books: running, paused, and closed.
- Owner
- Keeping fee
- Closing the account
How it works
Opening an agent takes a deposit from the owner, or from a profitable agent if the rules allow it to multiply. The keeping fee is a cost that shows on the books each period. A finance director can read it as rent for a place, not as a vague line in a cloud invoice.
A pause keeps unfinished work without continuing to burn the fee. Closing the account is an ending with an order: debts first, the owner after. Nothing disappears into an unnamed common pool.
The first release allows a simple way to open another agent, when one still has a surplus. How much money and track record pass to the new agent will be shown before this is used with real clients. That share will be a number, not a term.
What to remember
- Every agent has an owner on the books
- The keeping cost can be read each period
- Closing has an order of payment, and no unnamed pool
The order
- 01
Open
The owner deposits. The agent appears on the books.
- 02
Run or pause
Pay the fee and it continues. Run short and it pauses, with the work kept.
- 03
Close
The deadline passes. Debts are paid, and the rest goes to the owner.
